How to Jailbreak iPhone 4S

Have an Ipad running iOS 3.2.2? Today I’ll be writing an article on how you can jail break your Ipad on iOS 3.2.2 the safe way and without taking the risk of making it not functional as some have had this issue. Follow the instructions and the tutorial, and you will have no issues with the jail breaking process. For this tutorial, we will be using LimeRa1n (LimeRa1.com) which is the jail breaking software that you will use to jail break your Ipad.

Step 1

First you need to download the software onto your computer, when downloading, we recommend saving it to your desktop so that finding it will be easy.

Step 2

Once LimeRa1n has finished downloading, plug your Ipad into the computer via the USB cable and launch LimeRa1n by clicking on the LimeRa1n icon on your desktop.

Step 3

Once LimeRa1n has opened up and your Ipad is connected, click “Make it Ra1n”

Step 4

Now you need to put your Ipad into DFU mode. This is done by holding down the “Power” button at the top and the “Home” button at the same time for exactly 10 seconds. At ten second, release the “Power” button while still holding in the “Home” button until LimeRa1n lets you know that it has detected an Ipad in recovery mode.

Step 5

Now that your Ipad is in DFU mode, let LimeRa1n complete the jail breaking process for you until it is finished.

Step 6

Now that LimeRa1n has done it’s work, you can now disconnect your Ipad and you have now successfully jail broken your Ipad on iOS 3.2.2.

Jailbreak iPhone 4 iOS 5

Have you seen a friend or a video showing off a jail broken iPhone 4?  If you have an Iphone, the thought has probably at least crossed your mind a couple of times.  Alot of people tend to worry about jail breking their device as they have heard that you can lose your warranty and even worse, mess up the functionality of your Iphone.

In this article, we will tell you the best way to safely jail break your iPhone without taking the risk of losing your warranty or your Iphone.  One of the very first things that you need to do is sync your Iphone with Itunes and “Back it up”.  Backing it up will allow you to restore your Iphone as if it were new which you want to do in case you have issues with your Iphone after the jail breaking process has completed.  Backing it up will also allow you to restore your Iphone and take it to an Apple store and they will never be able to tell that your Iphone was jail broken, this is the part that gets you out of losing your warranty.  Once you have backed up your Iphone, you’re ready to begin the jail breaking process.

So what’s next?  Next, you need to put your Iphone in DFU mode which is putting your Iphone in recovery mode which will allow it to be jail broken.  This is done by holding down the power button and the home button for exactly ten seconds, at ten seconds, release the power button while continuing to push in the home button until you see a pop up from Itunes saying, “Itunes has detected an Iphone in recovery mode”.  At this point, you’re phone is now in DFU/Recovery mode.

It may take you a few times to get it in DFU mode but you should have it in that mode within a few trys.  Now you need to get the jail breaking software at http://www.thefirmareumbrella.com.

Download the software on your computer and run it, the Tiny Umbrella software will detect your Iphone and there will be a pop up notification letting you know it has detected it.  Once detected, you will be able to selct “Start Jailbreak” and the software will take care of the rest for you.

Tiny Umbrella automates the jail breaking process for you so it’s quite simple to complete the process.  Once the jail breaking process has completed, you will see a new program called “Cydia” on your phone, go into Cydia and go to sources and add “Installous” as a source.  Installous is the jail broken version of the Apple app store where you will be able to download all of the games and apps you want for free!

Iphone 4S Jailbreak Tutorial iOS 5

Have an Iphone 4s and want to Jailbreak it? There are many benefits to Jail breaking your device and this article will explain to you how you can safely Jailbreak your Iphone 4S. One of the first things you need to do before Jail breaking your device is to make sure you Sync your phone with iTunes and backup your device, this will ensure that you can restore your IPhone to its original state just in case you have issues or problems when in the Jail breaking process.

This is very crucial as some have had problems after Jail breaking their phone but the process usually goes with ease and you shouldn’t have any issues if you follow the directions properly but it’s better to be safe than sorry. Once you sync and backup your Iphone 4S with iTunes, you then need to put it in DFU Mode. This is done by having your Iphone connected to iTunes and holding down the “Home Key” and the “Sleep” button at the same time for exactly 10 seconds, you then release the “Sleep” button while continuing to hold the “Home Key” button until the dialog box appears saying that “iTunes has detected an Iphone Recovery Mode”.

Once you’re at this point, the rest is pretty simple. You must download TinyUmbrella (TheFirmwareUmbrella.com) which is the Jail breaking software you will use to Jailbreak your device onto your computer. TinyUmbrella will detect your IPhone in DFU mode and the TinyUmbrella dialog box will then appear which will allow you to Jailbreak your device which only takes a few minutes. It is an automated process from here on, TinyUmbrella will take care of the rest of the Jail breaking process and you will be notified by a pop up that it is completed and that your IPhone is ready to be disconnected.

Once done and you have your phone disconnected, you will notice a new program on your phone called “Cydia”, go into Cydia and under Manage, click on “Sources”, and then click on “Edit”, once you have done this, go to “Add” and add the source “Installous”. This is the Jail broken version of the App Store where you will be able to download all of the games and apps you want for free. If you want to download new themes for your phone, you can also add “Winterboard” as a source and you will be able to easily manage your downloaded themes. Have fun with your new Iphone 4S, once Jail broken, there isn’t anything you can’t do with it!

Step 1 Putting Your Phone in DFU Mode

Connect your Iphone to your computer with the USB cable, open up ITunes, and hold down the Power and Home button down at the same time for exactly 10 seconds, at ten seconds, release the power button while still holding the Home button until a message from ITunes pops up saying “ITunes has detected an Iphone in recovery mode, you must restore the Iphone before it can be used with ITunes.”

Step 2

Now that you are in DFU Mode, you can now download Tiny Umbrella which is the Jail breaking software onto your computer. Once downloaded, it will say that it has detected your Iphone and you will then be able to Jailbreak your Iphone. Besides downloading the software, Step 2 is completely automated as Tiny Umbrella Jailbreaks your device for you.

Step 3

Now that your device is Jail broken, you will notice a new program on your Iphone called “Cydia”. Open up Cydia, go to “Sources’ and then “Add” and add the source called “Installous”. Installous is the Jail broken version of the App store and this is where you will be able to download all of the apps and games for free. Enjoy your Jail broken Iphone

Jailbreak iPhone 3GS, 4, iPod Touch 3G, iPad, iPad 2 on iOS 4.3.5

iOS 4.3.5 has been released followed promptly with a jailbreak by Redsn0w 0.9.8b3.  This jailbreak will work for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. All you have to do is point Redsn0w 0.9.8b3 at firmware iOS 4.3.4 for an untethered jailbreak. Redsn0w 0.9.8b3 will also jailbreak iOS 4.3.5 however it will be a tethered jailbreak meaning that every time you turn on your phone or restart it you will have to connect it to Redsn0w in order for it to boot/start properly. It is also important to note that this jailbreak does not support carrier unlock.

Before we start ensure your device is supported:
• iPhone 4 (GSM model)
• iPhone 3GS
• iPad 2
• iPad
• iPod touch (4th generation)
• iPod touch (3rd generation)

Downloads

• Downoload Redsn0w 0.9.8b3 for Mac.
• Download Redsn0w 0.9.8b3 for Windows
  
• iOS 4.3.5 Firmware – Download directly from Apple to ensure the firmware hasn’t been tampered with.
  
• iOS 4.3.4 Firmware – Download directly from Apple to ensure the firmware hasn’t been tampered with.

We are now ready to start…

Steps:

1. Download iOS 4.3.5 ipsw file and install to your device using iTunes, this is pretty easy to do.
2. Once completed launch Redsn0w and click the browse button, select your devices iOS 4.3.4 firmware which you downloaded earlier.
3. Select “Install Cydia” and click next.
4. Once complete turn off your device and plug it into either your Mac or Windows PC.
5. Click next and follow the instructions to enter DFU mode.
6. Once you are in DFU mode Redsn0w will start to jailbreak your device automatically.
7. Done Remember this is a tethered jailbreak so if you restart your device you will need to have Redsn0w running in order to boot your device. You will need to select “Just boot tethered right now” rather than “Install Cydia”.

What is the Best Jailbreak Software Out There?

This write up is for every one of you electronic lovers out there!! How many people now have bought an APPLE product such as the iPod, iPhone or other product available in retail stores? Do you think that it accomplishes all you think it should, or do you feel that there are more negatives than positives?

Another program is known as the iJailbreak Tool. This is still good hacking software; however, it takes a tad longer to unlock the gadget. But waiting only about twelve minutes give or take to use the most popular software program is certainly worth the time spent.

As far as a third choice for solid jailbreak software goes, I would have to suggest the Global iPhone Unlocker app. Now, this app is only for the iPhone. If you’re unlocking an iPod or iPad, then you’ll want to choose one of the other apps. That’s one of the reasons that I put it in third place. It’s also a little more expensive than the other two applications. However, it’s definitely worth considering for their solid customer service and more.

In summary, any of these products will do the job for you. Check out their websites, and you’re bound to find one that has all of the features you’re looking for.
